Is Your Blog Really Banned From Adsense?

There are a number of people who own blogs on blogger platform. Many use blogs as a hobby while some create a blog to earn some money. Once they establish a good enough blog, they apply for the Ad Network Giant 'Google Adsense'. But suddenly one day, they find their blogs banned from Adsense due to violation of program policies. One of the most common problem that any blogger faces from Adsense is the 'Ad serving has been disabled to your site' problem. And most of the time, they end up with a domain banned from Adsense. If something similar has happened to you, then thank God that your Adsense account was not banned. You have a second chance to earn money from Google. You can build a new blog and again show ads on the new blog. Or, if you are using a free blog created on blogger platform, then there is a weird solution to this problem.

Banned from Adsense? Really?

If you own a blogger blog, and a free one that is hosted on blogger, and if you got an email from Google that they had banned your blog, then sit back and read how you can still earn from that very same blog and that too still from Adsense!

Recently, for the sake of country specific censorship, Blogger introduced country specific redirection. If you are an active blogger, then surely you would have heard about it so I am not going to discuss about it in detail. Jumping straight to the point, suppose that your blog : abc.blogspot.com has been banned from Adsense. Now, due to the redirection, if you visit the blog from (suppose) UK, then your blog address would be : abc.blogspot.co.uk And this means that the blog address is actually different! And so, Adsense ads would be displayed on it! This is because only your main blog address ie abc.blogspot.com has been banned and not the .co.uk version. So you would still receive ad impressions on your blog from your audience other than those from US. That does mean a reduction in revenue but surely, it is better than nothing.

So now even if your free blogger blog gets banned from Adsense, you still can earn from it. This fact is not applicable to blogger blogs hosted on custom domain. So here only those who use free service are benefited! And if you are thinking that you have no option left, then you are wrong. Just correct up your mistakes and after a few months, apply for a reconsideration to Google. Maybe they would listen to you and you would get back your banned blog again.
